After reading other customer's reviews, I almost didn't order this item; I am, however, glad that I listened to my gut intuition and purchased it to do home-monitoring for a relative who was not feeling well on a Saturday morning when most doctor's offices are closed! This product is very well made and comes with a bonus hard plastic travel case. This unit requires two (2) "AAA" batteries, which are NOT included in the box. Set up was very simple and this unit is extremely easy to use. Large digital readings and previous 99 reading memory capacity is also an excellent feature on this model. Measurement readings take approximately 90 seconds, slightly longer than other models, but if you are sitting comfortably at a table or lying in bed, the time passes more quickly (just remember to try and sit still without talking, for a more accurate reading). I used WrisTech 15 minutes before I went to my doctor's office. My doctor got the same numbers as WrisTech. I use it all the time. I use it before and after meal that way I know what food raises my blood pressure.
